Meloncholic

Meloncholic

A Poem by Mika Haruna

A small prayer touches the heavens

The meloncholic me whispers

A small wish "Love me please"

'That's all i ask for."

The stars feel

Compassion.

I hold this small prayer with greif

How could she hold this?

this sadness, so great

She is so young

So strong

A small tear maneges to escape

the meloncholic me smiles

"I am loved!" she shouts

i smile tenderly

"yes" i say

The meloncholic me sighs, tired

Her eyes close, one last time

She is finally happy

now she can leave

With her peace

"goodbye."

if you are writing like this at 14 then you are a prodigy. never have i seen such imagery and flow of beauty from one so young. never give up on poetry, because you are a natural. a bit disturbing is this piece, but eloquently done. love yourself more and you will have the world at your feet. good job!
