REVOLUTION in 1922

One hundred years ago, 1922, Alexander Friedmann published the paper that proved Albert Einstein wrong on the status of the universe. His paper in 1922 showed that the universe is not static, that it will e  x  p  a  n  d, and accelerate. Friedmann showed that the universe was expanding before any observational report was confirmed about it. He utilized 'negative curvature'. Amazingly he developed this report only one year after science papers resumed circulation in Europe following the hiatus of WWI.
