Denial

Denial

A Poem by Mk.t.g
"

It talks about the denial of pursuing you or looking at you, since all paths of achieving you are blocked.

"
When I look into those eyes
shinning at me
with the most precious smile
I have ever seen
I want to look back
I want to smile back
But somehow … somehow
I lower my head
as if in denial
when I know my heart
is raging with fire

The prettiest things, the prettiest gals seem so far away sometimes. Sometime the person, you see. Is fearful of taking chance. My father told me. Take no chances. Know no pleasures. Nice dance of words. You made the reader ponder and think.

Hearts are often given away by the eyes...they don't lie.

I like this piece, the ending allows for the reader to take this where he or she will.
second line I think you meant "shining"---

I used to be exactly like this but someone special changed my outlook on myself. It is amazing what a little confidence can do for a person. Nicely expressed
