Trainwreck Breakup

Trainwreck Breakup

A Poem by Ariana Omnomnom

It ended like a trainwreck
I felt so small like a spec
You told me you didn't feel the same
So I guess I'm the one to blame

Was it my fault?
I denied the truth and believed my own lies
I thought I saw something real in your eyes
Well, good bye
Your touch was soft and your words were sweet
I thought we sparked more than heat

As I lie here awake
Baby can you hear my heart break
The sound of my love crying
She's calling your name
The sound of my fire dying
I'd give up fortune and fame
Just to see you smile again

Was it all true?
That you didn't feel for me in any way
Because I swear I heard you say
Something different
