After Life

When you are gone

I will miss you~

Our time has been short

And has gone by so fast~

I think of you often

With so many wonderful

And happy memories~

You were the biggest 

Part of my life~

It seems like only yesterday

That we said "I Do"

Where has the time gone?

The years have flown by

Just not enough time

To do everything we wanted to

So, when you are gone

I surely will miss you

For my life was everything

All because of you.

This is a moving emotional piece Joanne. It reveals so much and yet is relatable to every heart who has gone or is going through the same process. Love is the easy part, but it's the letting go that is the most difficult. After life we still continue to cling to that emotion that is the greater part of who we are. And how we have loved.
