HOW GREAT THOU ART

HOW GREAT THOU ART

A Poem by Debra Santa Ines
"

Heaven is for me. Where sufferings never toil or linger in anguish. For all the tears shed in the journey of my life were my tears kept and yes, even flourished unto the unimaginable.

"

In the garden of beloved impressions

Carries English Ivy through

 To brooks along the wayside

Blossoms Irises all of blue

Mingled companions roses

Adoring blissful site

 Who kiss the Morning Glory’s

Arise to dawnings plight

Dancing orchids surround the bend

Capturing a Majesty’s path

 Arranged to inspire spring meadows

For every bloom it hath

 Cascading over tops

Fragrant lilies golden trestle

 Breathtaking or herald angels

Graceful arches spread to nestle

Among the winding  glories

Brings ambiance perfect decor

 Relishing majestic entryway

Introduces royalty’s door

Nearing exquisite centerpiece

The gate of magnolias and pearls

 Entwining gemstones ornately

Displaying petals curls

Beyond this crowning  gate of jewels

Stood cherry blossoms tree

 Whispering tones of eloquent speech

a voice echoed for me?

“Come near my beloved in the garden to Thee

Where perfected hands do heir

Eternal tears I planted here

Employed embraces care

I am He, unveiling thou

The Tree of Life, impart

While sorrows flourished, acclaiming Thine

Where you cried, How Great Thou Art”
