A mixture of thoughts and emotions

Here comes another day where I'm sad
Here comes another fight where I'm mad
Here drops another tear because I'm alone
Here passes another night where I feel like I don’t belong

I kept wondering through the dawn
Why do I have to live on my own?
As I pretend to be as strong as stone
My heart sings a tune

Should I stay alone or keep living in this fear?
Do I need a knight or someone to be here?
A knight who shows me the light or someone to hold me tight?
A knight who takes my side or someone to make me write?

Should I wait for a sign or through the key?
The choice is up to me but what's it going to be?
Pretend to be fine and fake me?
Or take what's mine and be who ever I want to be?

There is one thing I want to say
And I'm saying it on my way
I don’t need your sympathy
I'm a girl with dignity
Who needs liberty
and some infinity
