Silhouette

Silhouette

A Poem by nightmask
"

right before u go to sleep what do you see threw the covers? I see Silhouettes of people from my window cast upon my door and my dad downstairs blasting a horror movie directly underneath my room.

"

 Just a boy

and a girl

let the darkness unfurl

into the minds

of the unwinding

blind

sky

too scared to turn off

the night light

and let fly

my dreams

lift my bed up

from my declined head

covered by sheets

shadows of red

cast

across the window pane

calls from

the dead

hath

read me

and bled me

insane

rapture

in the music

from beneath the floor

unknowing of the showing

of the

midnight gore
