A Poem by nightmask
"

just leave them alone instead of trying to comfort them when they don't want to be comforted just sit next to them and be quiet until they want to talk to you.

"

 You wanna talk about it?

she tosses the paper with the questions away

she doesn't want to hear it

the painful answers never decay

she doesn't want your pity

or even your concern

just accept her day was s****y

you just need to learn

to let her sit with her feelings

silent in her thoughts

just end you peeling of her layers

finish your sentence now

with a dot

at the last word

asking simply "how?"

could this have occurred.

Just end the show right now

gather up the curtains

and take your stinking bow

Silence is the very pinnacle of the iceberg that once shattered reveals the mammoth lurking beneath. This poem is very well worded and evokes exactly how it feels when the one you care about will not open up, even if that person is you.

I did like it but your mask of innocence was better
