Sorry...

I’m sorry for a lot of things, things that are hard for me to explain...

like all the drama that I caused, and for always pointing the blame...

I’m sorry for all the hurt, knowing I too, caused you such pain...

so many things I’m sorry for, so sorry that it feels like rain...

I’m sorry that it took you this long to finally let me know...

that you really did fall in love with me but just could never tell me so...

I’m sorry that you once had to say goodbye, even though I never did let go...

but through all the hurt, pain and sorrow, it only helped me grow...

I’m sorry for then wanting more from you, more love… more affection… more time 

and when you just couldn't give me that, I felt so lost and left behind...

I’m sorry for so many other reasons, reasons I keep trying to find...

like how so very foolish I was, to think that you were still mine...

I’m so sorry, and that’s what I want to say...

for everything between hell and heaven above...

but the one thing that I'm not sorry for...  

is that I’m not sorry for my... "love"

Writing from the heart...from the gut...from any major internal organ, actually...the liver, not so much...is never to be looked upon with a cringe. That s**t is real. I wrote a poem from my pancreas once...hoo was it awesome ;-)

kee... it is real.. and it''s definitely straight from the heart... (wrote this just fairly recently) and it was one of those cases where i just needed to write to feel better...again i would say this has to be one of my best pieces so far... thank you for your kind words... it's really too nice of you :-)
