I'll let people down if I let them get too close
So if they want to get to know me I say a few words at the most
I am a disappointment to myself: thoughts from within
My sister hates the negativity but it can't help but win
A constant cascade of cynical thoughts pouring in
Providing scenarios that were never sought
If only my peace of mind could be bought
