Mainly inspired by Blood, Sweat and Tears by BTS. I wanted to write about lust and temptation. So here it is.

 


Extravagance

Overindulgence


Gratifying decadence,


Lost my senses,

Through your unholy whispers

This vehement urge 


Knows no patience

This desperate desire


Knows no manners

Drunk, intoxicated,


By your heavenly scent,

Lavender and mint, 


Your electrifying taste, 


Syrup and saccharin

 

Succumbed to my weakness

Driven, by this urgent appetite, 


to indulge in your venom, poison

Like black coffee, biting medicine


This impatient craving


Knows no reasons

 

Your spell, your charm

So deadly, so enchanting

Never felt a caress so sinful


One so breathtakingly beautiful 


Every uninvited collision


So immensely inviting

 

This insatiable thirst erupts

As I imbibe your raging flames


This intense hunger for your entity


Resides in my very veins

Every lingering touch,


Burning my skin

Punishing me for this greed, 


For this impulsive need, 


Every slight temptation,


Binding me to my every sin

 

Demanding for nothing less, 

Obsessed, addicted to alluring mess


Insane, this soul is dancing in every fire

And you, you are the only one I wish to devour 


Consumed with gluttony, 


Had it been all a waste?

A false winner, a true sinner,

Now only left to taste the bittersweet fall from grace


For I have ingurgitated the euphoric substance they call lust

Once risen, so high,

Now I slowly turn to dust

I think you definitely got your idea across. The music video is absolutely amazing so I can see how one can find inspiration from that song.
I think you used good word choice.
