Haiku stream

Haiku stream

A Poem by Static C

Void within without

Simple mind perceiving lies

Work thru the secret

Sudoku to see

Complex surrounding puzzle

True reality

Light velocity

Hyperdimensional form

Matrix of strings sings

Into existence

Mass, charge, spin, forces within

White noise, static, havoc!

Comprehend haiku

Calligraphy, zen with me

Tao lucidity

Uncertain precept

Following logically

The battle begins

Silent murder need

Samurai philosophy

Assassins creed cry!

Warrior facing

An uncertain enemy

Allows no mercy

Knowing only me

No brakes, no steering, I drive

Driven to exceed

Bend the bars with me

Together seek the one key

Open mindbox free

Hello! Good morning!

Welcome to reality!

No cage, box, or key!

Emotional seeds

Intellectual beliefs

Spiritual hearts

Surrounded by weeds

The secretheart garden starts

With the seeds I feed

Who planted the weeds?

Responsibility is

Free will given me

What could we achieve?

If together we all weed

Humanities dreams

Species destiny

Perhaps true world wide peace

Maybe I'm crazy

Remember each day

The true choices we all face

In our secret space

Garden of the heart

Where the dreamseeds sown twine roots

Into the bedrock

Reaching to the sky

Heartroots take hold of the stars

How far can we go?

If we can believe

It is up to you and me

Haiku streaming

Repeating silence

Echoes in your memory

Lyrics in your head

Author's Note

According to google haiku are meant to have a 5/7/5 count so thats what I used. I am aware that I have used some of these concept's already, but the challenge was in seeing If I could construct a series of stand alone haiku's that would encompass these ideas. I leave it to you to decide if I have succeeded.

This is nice. I love the way that each could indeed stand alone, but they flow into one another beautifully. FOr some reason this one strikes the deepest chord in me, though many do strike me.
"Who planted the weeds?

Very true, and we all plant a few of our own weeds, have the misfortune of having a few planted by others.

It was a pretty good poem! Sorry I haven't been around to review your work, I also like the idea of taking the standard haiku and just creating a chain of them

I must agree with Tao, I haven't seen such flow in haiku stanzas before. I just wish you could've added commas and periods where necessary, but all's good. It was an excellent peice and this is what makes me fall in love with haikus so much. =]

wow, this is by far the best flow of haiku stanza's I have seen. it has symetry and meaning in it and does not just break apart as you read it. this was well thought out.
great job and thanks for the add.

much love

I love this so much, the words just flow seamlessly. Even though some were not based on nature the way you put the words, it didn't matter about that.

Sudoku to see
Complex surrounding puzzle
True reality

But it is hard to put into words how good you did on this.
This is deffiently a different way of using haikus.

Awesome job

You did well to Haiku every stanza. I did one similar but when the cafe lost all our work recently I never bothered to re add it.

Haiku are supposed to be nature based I'm not sure if some of this didn't quite follow that rule. I liked the spiritual feel though.

Congrats on doing a good piece.

This is beautiful. It takes intense mind patience to be able to create not only one Haiku but a poem of Haiku verses. Truly wonderful, the content, the flow. I am excited to read more of your work..

I'm much like bubo i know nothing about haiku's however the transience and almost playful velocity of the flow is nice, ethereal projections are always nice.

If you've ever read Lara Gandre, who writes on this site. You are alike her in that you balance a strong interest in theoretical physics excellently with a sincere emotional investment in worldly wonder and tribute to beauty. When i first started reading her her stuff was much like yours though in that the degree metaphor was too obvious to not sound to clinical as a poem standing alone... the development of more involving images weaving along your work will take the metaphors you have and infuse them with depth. Though the intellectual warrior is awesome in you. You just need to add more visceral to your abstract metaphors.

I adore the use of nature and its wonders with the logical undertakings you muse upon. This is truly delightful. Haikus are difficult much less one as extended as this is. Wonderful work. Much is taught in your words of infinite wisdom. A delight this morning. Thank you.
Light,
Siddartha
