I love the ocean

Flat on my back I lay,
Observing the changing colors,
as the sun says good bye,
and brings with it the day;

It lays to rest in distant view;
Where the water becomes the sky,
Such is the fading blue to dark of night;
I watch,
As the sun goes down on me;
A sad but beautiful view;
Staring up at the pin holed Curtin in the circling sky…
I thought I caught a glimpse of you….

Lost in the song of the crashing sea;
The smell of salt;
The sounds of children at play;
Ocean’s wondrous spray of foam jumps in the colliding waves,
and kisses the warm skin as it falls on me;

The cool sugar of the shore line glows.....
Under the moon…..
Where the silver dust falls from heaven’s star…

Down to the stage of reflective glass….
The loving crystal blue…..
Outlining the dancing ocean….

Its depths
Reflected in black no more blue…


The water is bound,
By sugar
the sandy dirt on ground…..
the restless water’s never ending fight to break free from prisons gate….
is the constant crashing sound…..


Heavy eyes, I am fighting the trance…
The constant state of being lost and drifting away….
My everyday….
I love the ocean…
Yesterday,
Today…
Tomorrow…
Please be here when I come back…
I must go..
My last thought as I fade away….
My loving ocean..
Good night…
Only until the ‘marrow
When I bid hello to a new day…
