i died with your good-bye

i died with your good-bye

A Poem by nocool

We pass with a modest hello
Friends even this day….
You don’t see it in my face, but I am sure you know…

I feel you in my gut
Hello to this day kills me
And forces my heart shut

It was a thing so long ago,
Childhood love but living still do day…
So much stronger than you will ever know….

There is no candle stick flame,
There is no sun set to speak of… or to name…
There is no light of day or birth of night
There is only you.. in this passing of sight…

A simple hello, And a wave
a friendly gesture to me
I die every day as time ticks…
Counting the days as we grow old…
Time has healed no wound for me….

True love has taken its last breath…
the taste of blood from this blade once more
From this heart…. Good-bye
Unto this soul it birthed death…

Tell me how to let go...
and i will..
but until i know...
I love you still.
