depending on what you want me to be.

You use things that I love as bait.

I hate you.

You kill me.

I would never kill you.

in to much of a hurry for eveyrthing.

try as we may, we will always be that little child in the eyes of our parents. it would seem impossible for us to our grow our parents, we never truly do, we will forever be their child as they will forever be our parents. all we can do is create our own space and lives but remember that we are always bound to each other.

as to the poem itself brilliant expression of frustration and the pain of feeling caged and clipped as if they are afraid that you may spread your wings before they are ready to set you free. hang in there. you will out grow the cage soon enough.
