Ego-Death

Ego-Death

A Poem by MatthewMcCosh
"

date unknown

"
I live
life bound
always towards the holy
trinity: all encompassing;
phone
wallet
keys
while born
somewhere
America maybe I leave
forgetting
my wallet tells me
my name
my worth
my role or something --- its
a real stretch
starring at this animal
in the mirror
wide pupil-ed, stuck
there
that strange world with no real idea
of anything
