Beta poison.

Beta poison.

A Poem by Lee W. Deason

I moved as I could.
Yeah, take the face off.
Of cruelty and sarcasm.

Your expression was like a desert.
Bleak and no clue as to whats f****n with you.
Laid out on the floor, so our minds can operate.
But rarely did our friends participate or relate.

To the paragraph you rehearsed.
Like you had to make an excuse.
For intent or reason, behind the season.
When the fall fell, and you realized...
You're standing in hell, and you're alright with it.

I felt disgusted.
You strapped the mask on.
Of indifference, it looks sleazy.

Like your face is a desert.
Weakened by the sun beating through.
No I can't look any closer, no I can't look anymore.
Cause I don't see a single picture living anymore.
Just remorse...

So you told me the paragraph you rehearsed.
It sounded like you had to make an excuse.
For intent or reason, behind the season.
When the fall fell, and you realized...
You're standing in hell, and you're not surviving this winter.

Lee - I really like this for several reasons, but my favorite part was this:

I felt disgusted.
You strapped the mask on.
Of indifference, it looks sleazy.
