free what?

Obama Phone, food deserts,

fighting wars…

You heard she stole your tax

with her food stamps -

I heard you stole her predecessors

to bring them to a stolen land.

America - the United States

of oppresson.

America… amazing grace

with which you shove

my citizenship status in my face

but hey, at least I chose to be a semi-human

voluntarily,

so why complain, in this oppressive maze

I am the privileged one, yes.

Right. maybe not the one to vote, or have a job,

But sell my body parts

to pay you for the holes you’re drilling

in my brain, my pockets,

my damaged health, anxiety,

depression, and your rockets,

so you can victimize my brothers...

Digging wells, searching for change

in my pockets and in your face,

you look at me

the way one looks at their ex

with lack of love but lust for sex

your freedom’s tightening

my chest. ugly star bucks squeeze

last drops of dignity

I wish you’d just break up with me.

America, the land of free.

A mix of realism with humour, well done.

I loved the ending. Perfect feeling to evoke after depicting all of this continent's horrible expressions and actions.
