A Poem by Anonymous
"

Discontent of a student towards her professor's gentle rejection of her forbidden love. Both the student and the professor are social activists, hence the underlying theme of "illegality" and freedom.

"

Undocumented images,

“illegal” clouds

swim through my body.

domestic thoughts and

alien feelings riot,

Freedom!

You build your walls,

while I erase

the boundaries

your imagination

draws.

You listen to my lips

negotiating peace;

my eyes seek union

in an unlawful quest.

You deport

exultant eagles

that freely flutter

in my chest.

I peacefully protest.

No border should be

legal.

I guess freedom does have boundaries....interesting concept you painted here.

Yes, our emotions protest, and want all borders to flee so that total expression can be had, but then again, we do not always think of consequences in the heat of the moment, do we?

Great writing.
