Others Are Not

Others Are Not

A Poem by Anonymous

You're in snowflakes
that melt on my lips,
in the breeze of
my moving fingertips,
in my jokes, in my laugh,
in what makes me proud,
in the things that
others are not.

You've divided my time
to "before", "while", and "after",
like a mother's cry,
like a child's laughter,
like a silent voice
that makes this life
a background noise
to our love.
