Bliss - Insomniac Literature

A Poem by kailanthropy

Let’s listen to the rain drops
turn to dew;
I like their conversations as they settle,
mingle,
as the grass bends over.

Silence sings sweeter than lullabies,
and serenades our little film scene
as we watch water lotus.

I hear you’ve stopped breathing, and
it’s okay,
you don’t need to;
I’d rather float into a dream
on a cloud of your beer breath
than sink by nothing.

Great imagery in the first stanza...
and "silence sings sweeter than lullabies" -- great use of alliteration there and then you follow that up nicely with a really unique offbeat image. Also, I like the reflection at the end. Nice work!
