Life After Life

What is ahead? Is that not worth pondering? They say anticipation is more rewarding than reality. Might it be true? (Image by Word Press_

Life After Life

The remainder of my life
is processing how fortunate one can be,
given there is so much to appreciate
when one is mature enough to really
be appreciative of all the senses and respect them,
void of all the power and money
the PC societal measuring stick advocates.

What new fragrances will I discover?
New touches.
New sounds.
New sights.
And what new delectable 6th sense of being will I taste?

Might there be an ethereal existence waiting for us,
depending not on any traditional spiritual tradition,
but carrying us to that place where there’s more to life than life?
