Into the garden

Into the garden

A Poem by Souladareatease

Looking to my side a wobbling flower
seeks respite from the downpour
corolla stroking
I lean over sheltering, Her colours
glisten like the silver cloud
lining out to Her, how
all things planted seed to be
She just smiles, happily
while earth cleanses
...breathes...
Deeply I gaze into Her Beauty
placing My hands at Her sides
as She leans in want
Her face up to mine
whispering secrets
we hold back time
watching rain drops
...still...
refracting our might
the silt parts then clay
while roots take hold
growing in path
sowed by the soul
She says to me shyly
it will be hard wont it
as I nod my head, stating
We (eeeeeee)
shall, forever blossom

For me, this is a celebration of feminity from a man's perspective. Flowers have long been a symbol of femininity and womanhood since early civilization. They can be used to show love, to show girls blooming into womanhood, experiencing the world and your poem shows these sorts of images. Intricate yet very beautiful. Another poem from you to be added to my faves.

Such decisive care and tenderness rings out from this piece. Such beauty that connection creates, you are marvelous with imagery and texture, and getting the reader to sense surroundings.
