Feat of too many

Feat of too many

A Poem by Souladareatease

A grey wall
holds vigil
to stars
falling silent
A book of honor
that never rests
keeps pages turning
held in the bosom
to those
who know their
secret etchings
one of many
memorials, stand
to turmoil
unrest
walked upon
in myriad ways
a head sighs
and says thanks
that its still
attached
hoping again to see
his cousins three
here
where life
continues
as breeze
free
