The Daylight Owl

The Daylight Owl

A Poem by Souladareatease

White and brown
a dancer calls
    who
to the sun
as glider stride
   echoes
swoop down upon

the mind listening
    wisp
gleams in dream
token totem tales
    old
as the road
floated upon feather

Wile here sings
owl, and man
    listens
intentional head swivel
reading the signs
    temporal
while day breaks

This is just so light and free, my friend. I love the imagery and the sublime texture here. I can see the scene, feel the air, smell the dawn rising in subtle warmth...fantastically sensory is this one. You have the most incredible talent for changing up your style; I'm always intrigued!!!

Love when nature shares what is unseen to us, but seen by others we often ignore. Splendid read and write.
