Adrift

Adrift

A Poem by Souladareatease

Who walks in light cast shadows

where one-sided talk echo's

dreams of the fallen wing

beating life under Sun

thumping painfully

as the day slows

folding deep

into paths

where it

prays

~Tomorrow~

Highs

bemoan

moon beam

smiles hiding

beneath colour

of spirited wander

where the trees glisten

among woodland creatures

dancing in palance lime time

creating purposed songs to life

I am always transported to a totally new world when I read your work. This one took me to some enchanted forest, where the coming of the day, and the dawning of the night happened almost in sychronization, so that time was moving and standing still at the same time, if that makes any sense at all. Lovely imagery...and the form was quite interesting as well. I was reminded of a pyramid in a strange way, which got me to thinking about divinity and the idea of divinity in nature. I could keep going on, but I won't. Well done...
