Basking

Basking

A Poem by Souladareatease

Pure Light falls
shade in play
pleasant
breeze begins
while butterflies dance
black on blue
Monarch too
float as I
with
...time
from the grind
blessed
with a rest
where all matters
lay right here
as I
sober up
piece of mind
with my head
on
blades of grass
kissing east
quite alive
