The Billow

The Billow

A Poem by Souladareatease

Beyond the mystics veil
behind the draped and perfect curtain
we hop aboard surfing glistened waves
fetching the purse, clutching bosom
as we skim edges of shoreline
believing and proving
~fragility~
the whispers tickle kiss
noses to ears
smelling the distance
to the sound of maybe
breathing transcendence
proving heralds draw near
light balances and we the
prism
cradle sway
across in journey
rugged, hoping, reaping
as seer
the blades painted black
reflections smudged, smeared
within mirrors
carried dutifully upon the back
where climbing heaps
reach a point
where we
survey all before us
unsure now
for windwalking
and yet we push
where light sails beyond
