Inexplicable Pain

Inexplicable Pain

A Poem by OfDeathandLove

You talk with him every morning.
He knows your entire soul,
And you know his.

You listen to his problems,
Secretly keeping to yourself

How they tear you apart.
How worrying about him is enough to

Keep you awake at night.
Your heart filled with an inexplicable pain,
Thinking of him.

You think of him every afternoon.

His hair, his eyes,
His words and how they

Mean so much to you,
A simple drug
without which an inexplicable pain would

Envelop you.

You remember him every night.

His arms around you,
next to the fire,

Whispering words into your ear,
Words to remind you
How much you meant to him,

Every memory filling you
with an inexplicable pain
knowing that he once

Loved you.

OfDeathandLove
A sort of experiment with fonts and sizes. Also was getting a bit of weight off my chest. Thanks for reading.
