Goodbye Cinderella,

Goodbye Cinderella,

A Poem by Makayla

I stand in front of you
with my heart on my sleeve
my guard is down
I don't fear that you'll leave

Tonight you are mine
I'll cherish every minute
as we take over the dance floor
like we're the only ones on it

as i kiss your lips
and stroke your cheek
you're tender touch
is all i seek

but the clock strikes 12
my princess flees
ripping out my heart
that was left on my sleeve
