Limits are not real…

They exist only when we embrace them

Alive only when we breathe life into them

Nebulous and gaseous till accepted

With them we build cages around possibilities

Imprisoning imagination, beauty and life

Stifling the heart of miracles we blindly accept the false

Gravity pulls us back to earth

Caged inside a body racked autistic breathes

The old soul of an exquisite and timeless sage

Lightly speaking love and understanding into the world

In silence the truth is spoken

Blind with dancing eyes and spirit moving

In a body honed to perfection by grace, alive inside

Fine art and sculpture in living music forms art exquisite

Bodies lines like magic soar

The world etched in a soul and reflected onto page

Pen and ink flowing beauty symmetry and grace onto canvas

One glance and entire cityscapes are captured in his minds eye

With a flick of the wrist art is born

Singing with the voice of angles

Ears were silenced and cannot hear her own chorals

Sending shock waves of joy in bouncing jazz riffs into the world

Singing tunes in the key of bliss

Painting masterpieces without the use of limbs

Delicate intricacy skillfully swept on canvas with many hues

Transforming two dimensions into living three dimensional images

They leap from page into our hearts

Blindness dances as a ballerina, sees beauty we cannot

Paints master pieces with enlightened pigments, climbs mountains

Reads music other musicians cannot even imagine, become doctors

Reaches for the stars by feeling

The deaf sing jazz riffs in tune to joys rhythms,

Hear the subtleties in facial expressions, lead orchestras

Listen to every word we say, are musicians, mothers

They hear that which we cannot

The autistic speak, paint beauty, sing with voices of angles

Love with 10,000 hearts trapped in one body, unite the divided,

Autism dreams, tears down walls of ignorance, brings the light of understanding

Gives more love and care than it takes

The first two stanzas set the reader up for a optic discourse on the nature of Limits. I am not sure that the poem that follows sticks to that theme. Rather, I think that there. Are two poems in here. Both excellent.
I think the first two stanzas could über redeveloped separately.
Smashing writing.
