Now

A Poem by Veronica Chandler
"

Thank you to Beautiful Amazing World for permission to use their photo, visit them on Facebook to see more incredible images. This piece is in honor of my desire to enjoy the present moment.

"

Now

Expanding a heart, my mind catches air

Spirit is infused with joy, as time passes

Soulful expressions whisper love hopeful

Lightly lifted by rhythms of life passing

Flowers bloom deep inside of my center

Hope dawns, shedding a light within me

Illuminating present moments is heaven

The sun licks my face and warms me up

Snow in the mountains way up above me

Crystalline flakes reflecting ruby lit skies

The air crisp and light as I breathe deeply

My mind is focused to right here and now

Now calls me to leave the past far behind

Leaving tomorrows to unfold as they will

Beaming light from every pore I am freed

Joy guides me as I connect to love spirits

Reminding me of my own value and gifts

Now speaks inside my spilling souls fire

Erupting in a volcanic explosion of truth

Now never lies, it speaks life into us each

Just wisdom in the words above. We can learn from nature. Flow with the planet. Not against it. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.

Hope for, with and because of nature. This is overwhelmingly good. And you have chosen the perfect place to illustrate it, Yosemite.

The world around has so much wonder to show a person who cares; it creates so many wonderful feelings in and outside the body. Tis right to spend whatever time possible to not just see but to watch all the positives, to step every day with a sense of calm adventure. Your words are so alive yet peaceful - as if you've found a special place for your roots yet arent trapped by them and, that allows that erupting in a volcanic explosion of truth, to speak life into you .. wonderful picture, wonderful words.

This is such a lovely poem. I really enjoyed the last stanza because it feels more personal and thus unique.
