Savage Blast

Savage Blast

A Poem by Oliver Andreas
"

I was a bit stressed when this came to me.

"

vision of x-ray blue and red electricity pulsing

through hot quivering veins

hard external eyes of grey blue mirror reflection burn holes in brain exposing internal mind-f**k of self-immolation

pulse quickens and heart hammering in chest cavity explodes

white wet exposed spine gripped by iron fist is crushed

violent screams of red-hot anger erupt from ragged throat hole

jaw clamps shut severing blue veined tongue as teeth

pulverize into seared nerve roots

eyes melt, explode, and mingle with disemboweled grey gut matter

head blows apart leaving glistening grey matter clinging to

shattered shards of skull

burning chill of internal exposure penetrates pores with

tears of reality experienced

cruel meat hooks tear chunks of gristled flesh from limbs leaving

death meat bone exposure

feet burned into lymphatic blistered stumps

grind deep into ground glass

ravaged liver colored bile slithers to the dust of dead earth and used skin of mega-death

in a last convulsed celebration of destruct lust
i vaporize into blood gas

Great use of powerful adjectives to give chilling and foreboding mood. Abstract, yet true to the minute details of such extreme emotion.
