The tip of your nose

The tip of your nose

A Poem by oliverandfilm

The tip of your nose trips me up

down the potholes on the shiny black road

Cheekbones like mountain ranges cutting the clouds

like the edge of a blade that once rested on your skin

Bumps and freckles in places I see in my dreams

running the tips of my fingers across their exquisite form

Eyes wide as wild as the animals that roam the dead streets after the apocalypse

Expand the city of bridges that stretch across the blue void that accompanied me to death

Crinkles and creases crisscross the canvas of pale white

hugging the corners and crevasses that dirty old time left there
