Thoughts on My Breakup.

Thoughts on My Breakup.

A Poem by Oliver Bergh
"

Coffee cups steaming everywhere, a crappy mocha beside me, and my pen lightly scribbling on the back of my napkin. Welcome to the life of me - the teenage writer - and how I need to get my thoughts off my chest.

"

I'm not sure why you're avoiding me.
I'm not angry or sad.
I just wanted you to be happy,
I never really got the chance.

Being a boyfriend will always be hard for me.
And I never want to lose a friend
I don't get why you never talked to me!
Was there something wrong at my end?

I hope things won't be different now
You're too beautiful to lose.
I never felt anything anyhow
But that's just a lame excuse.

I will miss your amazing laugh,
And your beautiful brown hair
I bet your birthday will be a blast,
Oh, and I hope you like the teddy bear.
