A Poem by Omar

it flits within

the walls of the same room

cornered in my shadowed depths

spot-lit and whirling

center stage

in an empty theatre

speech withheld

from open spirits

it has come to vomit

in the only space

I ever let it own

my psyche

gladly it spreads its venom

Dissociated

swirling,

quiescent,

then loud

hushed notions

and mad realities

it finally expressed itself

to itself

monologue

O, this is very deep and creative...love how you used lower case letters to convey your poetic meaning. Your poetry has evolved and matured, although still at a higher level than most. Great job.

One thing about your writing I enjoy, it causes the reader's imagination to soar with every statement! That's entertainment!
