the wall of isolation

i am tall
but i built a wall
to let in and keep in only the bad
to keep the good from even scraping the surface
i am mad
i am sad
why can't life go well?
it's like I'm under a spell
to compel
into the darkness
i am the darkness
people make fun of me
i cry until i can't see
i am blind
while losing my mind
and you can't find
a single drop of happiness in my heart
i might as well be apart
from the world it's self
since i am nothing
