In Grey SpaceA Poem by Only if for a NightIn grey space colors blend to cloud the surface what used to be is now forgotten but if you look closely you can hear a whisper something alien and different a shell of what once was unrecognizable as it appears you need to know more. how to unblend the colors you keep scratching and clawing wrenching and rawing, throwing water, wine anything to break the black. But the more you try the more opaque the space becomes. A dark hole has encompassed it, and the whisper stops. You have destroyed it, yet there's an inkling in your mind. I am the one who knows this space, knows its history and has heard the whispers. I take it all with me now. Yet you are the only one who knows your specialness. © 2015 Only if for a Night |
