If Life was an Open Book.

Wishing on a dream.

If life was an open book

I pray for a happy land

were no pain or suffering

was felt or needed

no wars

just peace

only joy and true happiness

in abundance would shine.

across the universe

and this planet

called earth.

We would all care deeply for each other

No one would be a stranger.

Our front doors would be open.

And everyone  would come in

and visit and say hello,

as well as  having  a good meal

with a cup of tea or coffee

or some milk or juice.

Depending on their own

personal preferences

of course.

But life is not an open book

Life is hard as well as cruel

and so unkind

at times.

If more people really cared

about each and every one

this place would be in general

a far

better one.

But thankfully all is not lost

as we really do have some kind and

thoughtful caring  people

on earth

Whom to this very day!

That really does have compassion

and give a helping hand, as well as being considerate

and looking after others

outwith the reach of their own

family circles. Doctors,

Nurses, Volunteering Groups

Charities, and Humanitarian aids.

Not everyone in this world

is thoughtless

or harsh.

You might even have a

neighbour who is the best

on the street

because of the empathic

feelings they possess

inside

And check on the elderly.

And feed the poor

and look after the sick

and needy.

Even thou themselves

they have anything

but a humble life.
