Just a Jokey poem, I shall explore!

My hair is short brown and wavy

thick and my crown and glory!

In it's day it was long and curly

and full of bounce

as was my age

I am mature

and time

passes on

so does

my head

of hair

show my

state of wear

and time.

When I am older

fully grey above

hopefully maturity

of age and wisdom

I will still look okay!

and not a nutty witch.

hehe

This poem made me remember what Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie; the Nigerian writer; had said about hair, she says that hair can be very political, hair is race like she wrote in her novel Americanah, and she said also hair is age, and I found this in your poem, I don't have a great relationship with poem but I just loved yours.
