The Big C

 We will all die eventually

as we all know it

no one wishes

To be on a timer!

When told

when it will occur

and the reason why?

"THE BIG C"

Is the most frightening 

scenario

event

anyone

could have

That person

you love

and could be happening.

Waiting for outcome

from tests

and a specialist

at hospital

for the answer

Yes or No.

The emotional trauma

they experience

Is

Demonic and heartbreaking

to say

the least

Fear

trepidation

stress-filled days

overwhelming anxiety

take hold

 You're trying to remain calm

and nonchalant

not even "giving a f**k".

but deep within

you're broken

  taking the worse ride

into hell awake.

And if by

the grace of God

your

answer is

YES,  you're GOING TO BE OKAY

Get down

On bent knees

and pray

saying

a massive

   THANK YOU, GOD.

As I will be doing

 the same

And if  the answer

is the opposite

I will be swearing and crying

my eyes out

 let alone hysterical

And screaming out loud

I could not

save you

from this f*****g,

  evil,

vile, 

disease.

and I am

So sorry this is

 Happening to you.

Been through all this Dee. It is such dreadful news to have to deal with. The survival rates for cancers are ever improving and I am a testament to this. Each one of us have to deal with the news in the best way we can. Vent if it helps, scream if it helps, in fact do what you need to do to get it off your chest. Heart felt lines and I felt every one of them.

It is always worse for the ones closest, believe me. When it is you, you just deal with it because you have no other choice. That is what he is doing. Dealing with it as best he can, he will know how you are feeling.

Very nice! Been through this kind of. I had a really painful scar when I was smacked with a bat that had nails drilled into it by my father. After like five years of having the terrible painful scars, I got a skin graft to cover it. It still aches but at least I’m not too embarrassed by it anymore and doesn’t hurt too much.

This is so heart breaking, and I am sorry for you and your loved one. A word of advice though, do your research. Also, tell your loved one to avoid sugar at all cost. Cancer cells feed on sugar.
