It's easy to enjoy all

when things

are going sweet and dandy

When hard times fall

and they do sometimes come

It's even easier

nowadays

to walk out the door

and never return

To stand fast

put the anchor down steady home

steering and guiding

your way through

a steep turmoil

with time

Yes! It's so true. It's so much easier to enjoy the easier times. It is the harder times that help determine our character. When we can, as you say, drop our anchor, steady our course and manage to still safely steer a course for home and a safe haven. Nicely put.
