I write because of my heart

tells me too

I share

because I can

I give

with a free soul

and never ask

for anything from

anyone normally

I'm asking God to have grace

and give happiness to my man

and others who are suffering

no brass bands playing

no fancy holidays

or exotic gifts

Just a simple pleasure

of seeing him smile along

with others

from within

let alone out

being genuinely happy

To me

that my dream come true

no more suffering and pain

That does hurt to see on anyone

let alone him

Please hear my prayer

These days, the entire world feels like it’s in chaos & there never seems to be a clear path or leader, as tho we are looking for some big over-arching solution to all this grief. But your poem tells the story of how I believe we can each participate in an incremental improvement over time. We just have to take it down to whatever level of detail we have to work with in our lives, to address sorrow & pump up pleasure.
