Smile,  even if your heart is breaking

hold hands tightly

hug him

cuddle him

keep him close

enjoy him

value him

and make him smile often

have a laugh

go for a gentle walk

enjoy the outdoor air

feel the breeze on your skin

look deep into his big brown eyes

say I love you.

but words are just

words show him by your actions

as those speak more powerfully than words

really talk to communicate in good and bad times

more so bad. Value each other.

Listen and take notice when he is in pain, upset

confused or ill. Do not judge or have a go.

Even moments of just saying nothing to each

other but by just being there with him.

Means a whole lot

and cherish all.
