Depression .... is not a taboo word or illness. SPEAK OUT.. SOMEONE IS LISTENING & DO CARE

Depression is such an ugly word

just like it's meaning in life.

Feeling down, lack of self-worth,

poor concentration, an overwhelming

emotion of sadness and upset. Not

eating or sleeping properly. Or maybe

even sleeping far too much. Lost interest

in everything. Not looking after yourself

properly. Anxious, gloom and doom on

your mind constantly. Hopelessness. No point in

anything Consuming you giving up.

Awful feelings and emotions. That is overwhelming

and unbearable at times. For anyone.

And sadly some people actually when

they feel like this give up and commit suicide

As the darkness consumed them and took them

beyond recognition of who they once

were.

The point of this is to highlight the fact.

Depression is not a taboo word or topic

As so many people suffer from it in this world.

But many people never speak about how they feel inside

and keep it all to themselves until it's to late. And they

have passed away.

Please speak out. And let someone know how you feel.

Even if it's only in a poem online.

Or to a close friend you trust.

We all need to get our real deep emotions out from

within.

Never feel alone. As you are far from it.

Someone  somewhere in this world.

Does understand and do relate to how

you feel.

Reach out and talk. As someone is listen.

Me for one. As a fellow suffer also of this

wicked illness.

I suffer with depression and I know I'm not alone. but this is a war that I am not winning and some days I don't even put up a fight.Still in darkness,no light in sight

I know depression is far from easy. I feel the exact same way myself some days. But you have to fight the demon inside your mind and heart. And know you are far from alone. It's say said than done. I know that also. hugs Dawn.
