Simple things ....

Paper planes and cardboard boxes

and skipping ropes and playing

hide and seek

These were the things we as kids.

Used to enjoy playing.

Spending quality time with our

imagination and friends

having quite a blast

at that and anything we could

make use off.

Nowadays. It's pads and pc screens

and tablets.

The young kids are glued to 24/7.

How times have changed?.

yes i agree when i had my kids we had little plastic and fabric material books as their first readers. in the pram they would hold them or in bed as they fell asleep now its an electronic screen in the pram terrible or probably in the cot. thanks for this point you made i totally agree.

Thanks Julie, I understand we have got to change with the times. But when it comes to children. Let them be children without all the modern ipads and tablets for a bit longer. Without making them grow up too soon.

I sadly do agree Coyote, In this day and age. You sometimes do not want your kids to go outside. With some of the sick people around who prey on kids. And that is so sad. Children can not be children. They have to grow up so fast. Outwith technology and ipads etc. The world really is sick at times.
