Toby Teddybear

Toby Teddybear

A Poem by Onlyme

Bittersweet tears of sorrow
land on her pillowcase.

She was heartbroken as her
teddy bear was missing.

She looked everywhere.
Under the bed.
Inside the wardrobe
where her toys
are kept at night.

She asked her mum and dad
and little sister. Did they see
Toby her teddy bear.

They all said No.

They even helped her
look for Toby.
But with no joy.

Mandy was sad and missing
Toby.
As she lay in bed cuddling
Dolly her substitute friend for the
night.
