Know That I Too
We are never alone (a poem for mental health month)
The dumping ground called the Earth.

The dumping ground called the Earth.

A Poem by Onlyme

The destruction of man is seen everywhere.
On this planet called earth.

From the rainforest in Brazil.
Daily getting ripped down for the wood.
To be used for housing and furniture.
And other products for man's use.

The devastation of the oceans and beaches,
Yet again. A result of man. Leaving their
waste behind. Instead of cleaning up after
themselves.

And the poor innocent wildlife.
Suffering at our thoughtlessness
and selfishness.
Let alone waste, dumped in
their seas.

Landfills across the world.
Built up eyesores and far as the
eyes can see. With plastics, food,
metals and tyres to name a few
items.

There is even a dump for
old worn out aeroplanes in
America called an "aeroplane
graveyard". Where they go for
scrap, sales and repairs.

I guess at least they are
trying to do something about
the planes. In some
small gesture.
