Bestowed Upon Me..

Bestowed Upon Me..

A Poem by Onlyme

Flowers in the attic
from a very long time ago.

Reminds of our marriage
From that wonderful day,
we had that honoured
each union and pledged
our undying love forever.

I kept those special flowers.
All wrapped up, to preserve
them. A great expression
of that amazing day.

I smile when I often think
back. And my heart skips
a beat.

I even sneakily watch you
from afar. As you work your
way around the house. Doing
daily tasks.

I am so very lucky. To have
a dear sweet loyal soul of
a husband in you.

Who makes me smile and laugh.
Listens when I speak. And gives
out great big cuddles when I am
down or feeling blue.

And looks after me. When I feeling
ill.

Blessings you did bestow upon me
On that perfect day.

To which I do cherish and you of course
To this very day.
